With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tim Smith (Prospect, Connecticut), born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on January 19, 2020 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, George Smith and Dorothy Smith; and his brother Robert Smith. He is survived by : his daughters, Hannah and Alexa Smith; his significant other Terri Philibert; the mother of his children Margaret Puddester-Smith; his siblings, Katherine Berluti (Richard) and David A. Smith; and his nieces and nephews, Matthew, Jessica, Melissa, Garrett, Danielle, David "D. J.", Chrissy, Cassie, Brian and Amanda.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Orange Volunteer Fire Association, P.O. box 878, Orange, CT 06477 for a scholarship set up for both of Tim's daughters.
