It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter H. Gibson Jr. (Rocky Hill, Connecticut), born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on June 14, 2018, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Walter H.; and his siblings, Esterlene G. Jacks, Thomas Gibson and Clyde Lee Gibson. He is survived by: his parent Elizabeth Gibson (Williams); his children, Elizabeth Reid, Bart Pinckney (Gemia), Stacy-Lynn Mosby (Douglas), Michael Patterson (Claudia), Nicole Lara, Fatima Gibson-Walker (Davien), Walter H. Gibson, III, Michelle Benitez and Carmen Gibson; his brother Roger Gibson, Sr.; his wife Alberta Gibson; his siblings-in-law, Ulysses Jacks, Cynthia Gibson and Linda Gibson; Kenneth Gibson (Glendora), Joan Gibson and Linda Lourde. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
