He was predeceased by:, Alfred and Shirley DiSapio. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Hansen (DiSapio); his children, Nicole, Kendall and Tyler Hansen; his parents, Robert Sr. Hansen and Nancy Hansen (Harrington); his brother Thomas Hansen; his in-laws, Diane Warzoha, Denise, Michael Grabarz, Albert DiBella and Jennifer Hansen; and his sibling's children, Matthew, Kristyn, Connor, Stephen, Daniel (Kathryn), Meghan, Christopher (Sydney), Zachary, Anthony, Gavin and Layla.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Silver Shield Association, P.O. Box 1123, Greenwich, CT 06836, or to the Wounded Warrior Project. The family has chosen to send donations to Wounded Warrior ProjectDonate Now (http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org) Donate to Charity.
