He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Sneider Wheeler of Toledo and Kenneth Monrow Wheeler of Great Barrington, Vermont.; and his former wife Sharon Ayers Wheeler. He is survived by: his wife Karen Chase Williams; his son Scott; his daughter-in-law Faith Wheeler of North Granby; his son Lee; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Wheeler of Granville, Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Marissa Wheeler of Granville, Brittany Whitehead (Anthony) of Granville, Massachusetts, Katrina Wheeler Hoddinott (Jake) of East Hartland, Connecticut, Chad Wheeler of North Granby, Connecticut and Courtney Wheeler of North Granby, Connecticut.; and his cousins, Leslie, Dick and John Carothers.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Alban's Episcopal Church (197 Bushy Hill Rd, Simsbury, CT 06070).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture at the University of Hartford in Hartford, Connecticut.
