He was predeceased by: his parents, John Petersen and Inga Petersen (Neilsen); and his brother Paul Petersen. He is survived by: his wife Lydia Petersen (Richardson); his children, Lisa Beebe of Camden, ME and Taz Petersen (Colleen) of Groton; his siblings, John H. Petersen (Joyce) of Burlington and Rita Wenzel (Ray) of Texas; and his sister-in-law Esther Petersen of Simsbury. He is also survived by five grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
