He was predeceased by: his spouse Caroline Hooker (Brown); his parent Richard Martin Hooker, Sr.; and his son Thomas Rockwell Hooker. He is survived by: his parent Helen Hooker (Ingalls); his daughter Caroline Berman (Ingalls Hooker); and his grandchildren, Erica Berman Svatek, Christopher Berman, Eli, Jack, Mila and Ava.
