He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Jane Shannon; his siblings, Mark Shannon and Mary Hoffmann; and his parents, Harry Shannon and Eleanor Shannon.
He is survived by: his children, Laura McGrath (Christopher) of Ridgewood, NJ and Matthew Shannon of Hartford, CT; his granddaughters, Leah, Ava and Carys McGrath of Ridgewood, NJ; and his siblings, Anne Hickey (Jack) of Readington Township, NJ and Hank Shannon (Janice) of Barnegat, NJ. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
