She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Stewart Johnston and Anna Johnston (Renn). She is survived by: her husband Walter J. Kupchunos; her children, Lisa Fitch (Brian) of Waconia, MN and Jim Kupchunos (Chris) of South Windsor; her grandchildren, Peter Fitch, Ashley and Katie Kupchunos; and her siblings, Collins Johnston (Ann) and Peg Johnston. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Mary Lou's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN.
