With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis Knipschild of Southbury, Connecticut, born in Queens, New York, who passed away on June 30, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Josephine Knipschild (Principato); his parents, Francis Knipschild and Edna Schuler Knipschild; his son Keith Knipschild of Kings Park; and his brother Gerard Knipschild of Kings Park.

He is survived by : his daughters, Wendy Ammon (Harry) of Oakville and Deborah Hernandez (Michael) of Danbury; his grandchildren, Ryan Ammon, Noelle Germain (Adam), Brittany Rutkanus (Dean), Courtney Ammon, Michael, Gregory and Christina Hernandez; and his great grandchildren, Lorelei Germain and Molly Josephine Germain.
