With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine S. Porydzy of Southington, Connecticut, who passed away on February 19, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sargent and Margaret Sargent (McGarvey); her husband Mitchell Porydzy; her son Mitchell J. Porydzy II; and her siblings, Margaret Anderson, Joseph, Lawrence, Richard and John Sargent.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Elsie Sargent and Terry Porydzy; her nieces and nephews, Robert Anderson (Judy) of Southington, Richard Anderson (Mary) of Southington, Annette Horner (Allan) of Southington, Robert Sargent of Southington, Kathleen Noury (Dennis) of Southington, Nancy Slesinski (John) of Southington, Richard Sargent (Mary) of Southington and Jay Sargent (Sue) of Maryland; and her close friends, Maureen of Southington, Tom Murphy of Southington, Walter Hushak of Southington and Dorothy Lalla of Southington.
