It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dante Carrafa of Southington, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on September 11, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Carrafa and Rachel Carrafa (Ciavarella); and his siblings, Matthew, John, Michael, Eugene, Victor, Alfred Carrafa, Lucia and Elaine Carrafa.
He is survived by: his wife Monica Carrafa (Raudis); his children, Cynthia (Anthony Petrello), Dante, Jr. (Ann Marie Carrafa), Valerie (Ben Barker) and Kimberly (Mike Russ); his grandchildren, Carena, Dante III (Lisa), Derek (Kathryn), Devin, Leah (Rory), Alana, Evan, Peyton (Sarah), Isabelle and Truly; his great grandchildren, Dante IV and Santino; his brother Joseph; his sister-in-law Wendy Carrafa; his sisters, Mary Imbimbo and Anita Disisto; his sister-in-law Rosemarie Carrafa; and his friend Saratoga. He is also survived by several brothers-in-law, other sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, a large, loving extended family.
