It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrell J. Lapoint Sr. of Southington, Connecticut, born in Limestone, Maine, who passed away on December 12, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra LaPoint (Wortman); and his siblings, Russell, Gilbert, Ralph, Rita and Lorraine.
He is survived by: his children, Darrell LaPoint, Jr. (Donna) of Southington, Thomas LaPoint (Lisa) of Berlin, Lori Foley of East Hampton and Shelly Cibula (Mark) of East Hampton; and his sisters, Mae Schwartz (Gerald) of Florida and Betty Melvin of Maine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
