He was predeceased by: his parents, John Castiola and Anna Castiola (Smith); and his brother Jack Castiola. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Castiola (DelSanto); his children, Sarah (Kevin Applewhite) of Belmont, MA and Edward Castiola of Southington; his grandsons, Ryan and Jason Applewhite; his siblings, James Castiola of Terryville, Teresa Luther of Terryville and Stephanie Mensel of Bristol; his siblings-in-law, Ermine Castiola, Thomas DelSanto of Southington, Ann Stack of Bristol and Angela Roberts of Naugatuck; and his nieces, Melissa Block of Bristol and Ann Marie Elliott-Breiteneker of Southington.
