We bid farewell to Edward Franklin Leahy Jr. of Southington, Connecticut, born in Somerville, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 18, 2024 at the age of 71. Edward Franklin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward and Mary Leahy Sr. (Maguire); and his sister Sally Leahy. He is survived by : his wife Eileen Leahy (Ahlstedt); his children, Edward Leahy III, Patrick Leahy and Sarah Leahy; his brothers, Robert Leahy (Lourdes), Paul Leahy (Rose), Mark Leahy (Alicia), Peter Leahy (Kristine), Timothy Leahy (Maria), Thomas Leahy (Barbara) and Brian Baker; and his caregivers, John and Heidi of AccentCare.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Leahy Residence (83 Hamilton Ave, Southington, CT 06489).
