He is survived by: his wife Marie Whalen (Plourde); his children, Steven Sr., Patricia Whalen, Michael Whalen, Andrew (A. J.) and Amy Whalen; his grandchildren, Anna (Whalen), Christopher Cornett, Steven Jr., Alicia Whalen, Kylie Whalen and Kristen Whalen (Colin Cassidy); his great grandchild Juliana Cornett; and his siblings, Beverly Carroll, Pauline O'Brien (Polly) and Michael Whalen of Maine.
