She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton McCarty and Ethel McCarty (Gardner); her husband Cyr Fournier; her siblings, Thomas McCarty, Christine McCarty Hoffman and Marian McCarty Hanning; and her son-in-law David Sykie.
She is survived by: her children, Craig Fournier (Kathy) of Inverness, FL and Sally Sykie Fortier (Bruce) of Gilmanton, NH; her grandchildren, Simmone Fournier (Rob Turton), Craig Fournier, Jr. (Jennifer Frey) and David Sykie, Jr. (Rachel Glover); her great grandchildren, Lily, Kane and Rosaleigh; and her brothers, Melvin McCarty (Joy), Earle McCarty (Margaret) and Joseph McCarty (Karen). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, and very special friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home (211 N Main St, Southington, CT 06489). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
