It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert J. Hubeny of Southington, Connecticut, who passed away on February 25, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Hubeny and Sophie Hubeny (Gladke); his siblings, Anthony "Sonny" Hubeny Jr. and Elizabeth "Betty" Lagana; and his brothers-in-law, Salvatore Lagana, John Rinato and Walter Tomczak.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hubeny (Krulikowski); his daughters, Karen Fitzgerald (John) of Bantam, Cathy Hubeny of Southington, Lynn Ludecke (William) of Southington and Sharon VanKooten (John) of Trafalgar, IN; his grandchildren, Nina Kowalewski, Steven Kowalewski (Heather), Heather Ludecke, Alicia Ludwinowicz (Kevin), Amie Ludecke, Haley Ludecke, Allison VanKooten, Matthew VanKooten and Keith VanKooten; his siblings, Jennie Rinato, Sophie Barry (Richard Paul), Patricia Tomczak and David Hubeny (Judy); and his sister-in-law Ida Hubeny of Southington. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
