He was predeceased by: his parents, William Styring and Mary Styring (Dudac); his brothers, William Styring Jr. and Richard Styring; and his wife Ellen Styring (Waldron).

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Eleanor and Jax; and his sons, Matt Styring (Tara) of Southington and Mark Styring (Jennifer) of Southington.
