He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly Tooley (Goss); his parents, Frank Tooley and Ida Tooley (Ashley); and his brother Keith G. Tooley. He is survived by: his children, Bryan Tooley (Linda) of Oregon and Teri Burke of Virginia; and his grandchildren, Sarah, Jacob, Ryan, Jennifer and Christopher. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
