He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Clinton Matteson, Sr. and Hope Scott Thalman Matteson; his stepfather Nelson Fendrich; and his brother John Matteson, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ely Matteson of Southport, CT; his sister-in-law Carol Matteson of Stamford, CT; his niece Leslie Matteson Williamson (Rob); his great-nephew Jack of Stamford, CT; his nephew John Matteson, Jr. (Charlene); his great-nephews, Charles, Peter and Alexander of Windermere, Florida.; and his great-niece Janine.
