It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lawrence Slater Jr. of Storrs Mansfield, Connecticut, born in Willimantic, Connecticut, who passed away on January 13, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence, Sr.; and his brother-in-law Steven Lizee. He is survived by: his mother Beth Ann Slater; his significant other Bonnie Slater (Altaffer); his sons, Lawrence V. III (Ashley), Josh (Amanda) and Tim (Lily); his siblings, Gerry Slater (Lesley), Heidi Slater (Cheryl) and Kimberlee Slater; his grandchildren, Casey Anne of Kiley, CJ, Loudon, Linkon and Daxton; and his friends, Ray Legary and Gerry Pompeii. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, in-laws.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to the Camp Fund c/o First Congregational Church of Willimantic, 199 Valley Street, Willimantic, CT 06226.
