She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Lowe and Barbara Lowe (Thomas); her daughter Megan (Paul A. Young); her husband Clifford "Tom" Ward; her son Mark Evankovich (Beate); her sisters, Elizabeth Bechkowiak, Susan Lowe-Thomas (Marty Ankenbauer) and Jennifer (Jon Schaffer); her grandchildren, Cameron, Bode Young, Edie and Cleo Evankovich; her stepdaughters, Michelle (Chaz Mull) and Kim (Nick Lupacchino); and her stepgrandchildren, Ashlee Stimson, Alexis, Adam, Andrew Caffrey and Isla Lupacchino. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, she administered hundreds of vaccines.
