She was predeceased by: her parents, Luis Garcia and Angelina Garcia; and her husband Julio Cruz Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Julio Cruz Jr. (Adrianna), Wilfredo Cruz (Leidiana), Luis Cruz (Jennifer) and Mayra Cruz-Garcia; her grandchildren, Lisa, Julianna, Jonathan, Isabel, Nicholas, Alvaro Jr., Aleena, Matthew, Alejandra, Diana, Jasmine and EJ; her great grandchildren, Adrianna, Alianna, Theo, Victoria, Sofia, Carmelo, Ezra, Elias, Saidie, Sean and Tristen; and her siblings, Jorge, Carmelo, Jose, Juan Garcia, Rosa and Angelina Garcia. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pistey Funeral Home (2611 Main St, Stratford, CT 06615). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the St. Mary Church (25 Sherman St, Bridgeport, CT 06608).
