He was predeceased by: his spouse Kathryn Long (Cass); and his siblings, Frank Long of Stratford, Virginia Glovna (Mike), Marion "Babe" Lemachko (Max) and Evelyn Long.
He is survived by: his parents, Edward Long and Evelyn Satchell Long; his children, Raymond of Wallingford and Cynthia of Guilford; his granddaughters, Jennifer Asbury (Dustin), Killingworth, Susan Wojtowicz (Richard), Rebecca Degnan (Mark) and Haddam; and also Wright (Gregory) of Guilford.
