He was predeceased by: his spouse Eva Scinto Emond; his parent Raoul Emond; and his siblings, Marie G. Emond, Doris Twohey, Lucille Beust and Leo Emond.
He is survived by: his parent Beatrice Luneau Emond; his children, Michele Scott (Steven) of Stratford, Bruce Emond (Tami) of New Canaan, Laura Maturo (Patrick) of Seymour, Lisa Paola (Tom) of Middlebury and Denise Emond of Milford; his grandchildren, Alexa, Matthew, Marisa, Nora, Elizabeth, Danie and Julia; his brothers, Donald Emond (Connie) of Trumbull and Albert Emond of Stratford; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Emond of Fairfield and Carl Beust Jr. of Stratford. He is also survived by husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
