He was predeceased by : his wife Wanda Pohorylo (Pawelec); and his siblings, Edward, Stanley Pohorylo, Josephine Niemic, May Poirek, Stasia Frigon, Stella Kowal, Francis Bourque, Felice Pohorylo, Agnes Pohorylo and Jean Campbell.

He is survived by : his daughters, Carol Dietz (Michael) of Prospect, CT and Elaine Hill (Malcolm) of San Diego; his brother Raymond Pohorylo of Enfield; and his grandchildren, Monica Hill, Malcolm Hill, Jr., Eric Dietz and Patrick Dietz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews.
