Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gloria Makara of Terryville, Connecticut, born in Bristol, Connecticut, who passed away at the age of 93, on January 30, 2022. She was predeceased by : her husband Charles V. Makara; her parents, Charles Fournier and Rose Fournier; and her sons-in-law, Ron Franks and Charles Mulkey.

She is survived by : her daughters, Christine Franks of Plymouth, CT, Judith Mulkey of Tate, GA, Janet Kimball (Donald) of Tilton, NH and Gloria Clair (Randy) of Wolcott, CT. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
