She was predeceased by : her parents, Holman Bell and Edna Bell (Leveille); her husband Richard; her granddaughter Rebecca Piper Herron; her great grandchild Charles Spenser Finnegan Bledsoe; and her great great grandchild Everest Hines-Greene.

She is survived by : her children, Andre Asal (Patricia) of Anderson, SC., Richard Asal Jr. of Thompson, Debra Piper of Thompson, Priscilla Asal of Putnam, Cheryl Bisson of Thompson, Carla Kress (Fred) of Littleton, CO., Sandra Law of Lexington, SC., Kristine Campos (Lawrence) of Putnam, Scott Asal of San Diego, CA. and Virginia Asal of Thompson. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, two nieces and a nephew.
