He is survived by: his spouse Elizabeth Gardella (Diacamos); his parents, Roland Gardella of Ocala and Carol Gardella of Torrington, CT.; his daughters, Amanda Gardella of Simsbury, CT and Sarah Gardella of Torrington, CT; and his brother Daniel Gardella of Hobe Sound. He is also survived by two nephews and many friends.
