She was predeceased by: her spouse John M. Toro; her parents, Marguerita Colleoni (Pesce) and Frank Colleoni; and her siblings, Louie Colleoni, Philomena Kibbe (Dolly), Barbara Bongiolotti, Albina Cateno (Bea), Rose Brennan, Julia Stewart, Carmella Jacklin (Cam) and Mary Riley.
She is survived by: her son Joseph F. Toro (Meg); and her granddaughter Madeleine. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations made be made in Doris' name to the Torrington Soup Kitchen, 220 Prospect St., Torrington, CT 06790.
