He was predeceased by: his spouse Susan Fraher Cogswell; and his parents, Jack Dye Cogswell and Mary Griffin Cogswell. He is survived by: his son Gregg Griffin Cogswell of Torrington; his sisters, Joan Colsey of Somers, NY and Mary Jo Kramer of Ossining, NY; and his nieces and nephews, Michael Fraher, Roy Colsey, Steven Kramer, Kristin Colsey, Kari Sateriale and Nancy Kramer Ross.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Jack Cogswell, Jr. can be made to the Closer to Free Fund, which jointly supports Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven and Yale Cancer Center.
