It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James W McElhone of Torrington, Connecticut, who passed away on January 29, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William J. McElhone and Esther McElhone (Patterson); his daughter Maureen McElhone; his sister Meredith "Patsy" Angelovich; and his brothers-in-law, Andrew Angelovich and Gregory Broskie.

He is survived by : his wife Judith McElhone (Gamble); his sister Margaret "Peggy" Broskie (Dan Metzler) of Westboro, Massachusetts; his children, Patrick McElhone of Torrington, James Jr. (Marsha McElhone) of Warren and Kara McElhone (Eric Yates) of Easthampton, Massachusetts.; and his grandchildren, Patrick McElhone Jr., Erin McElhone, Matthew McElhone, Megan Campanelli (McElhone), Ava McElhone Yates, Ruby McElhone Yates and Liam McElhone.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Jim's name to Community Kitchen of Torrington or a charity of your choice.
