She was predeceased by: her parent John Remecki, Sr.; her sister Jean McLaughlin; and her significant other Romeo Pothier. She is survived by: her parent Mary Remecki (Mikulak); her son Louis Capra, Jr.; her wife Cynthia Ziggiotto; her daughter Jayne Martigneni (Leo) of Torrington; her siblings, John Remecki, Jr., Florence Simons of Bristol and Dorothy Brewer (Keith) of Bristol; her brother-in-law Edward McLaughlin of Burlington; her granddaughter Konnie Shaw (Peter) of Torrington; her great grandchildren, Peter Shaw and Nicolas Shaw; and also Michael Ziggiotto. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
