He is survived by: his wife Raffaela Cardillo Garrison; his children, John Jr. Garrison (Martha) of Torrington, Nicholas Garrison of Torrington, David Garrison (Channea) of Torrington, Vicki Dings (Brian) of New Hartford, Paula Garrison (Rick) of Torrington and Gina Garrison (Anthony) of Torrington; his sister Cheryl Mangini of West Hartford, CT.; his pet Harley; and also Nadine. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
