He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Joan Oris (Butler); his parents, Joseph Oris and Margaret Oris (Durkin); his sons, Daniel Oris of Thomaston, CT and Steven Oris of Seymour, CT; his stepchildren, Mark Thulin of Bristol, John Thulin of Torrington, Timothy Thulin of Watertown, Patricia Halloran of Southington and Kristin Van Wright of Torrington; and his siblings, Robert Oris and Mary Ann Oris Labaha. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
