She was predeceased by: her spouse Irving Surdam; and her siblings, John, Daniel, William Hackett, Mary Furlan, Honnour Ristau and Angeline Killiany.
She is survived by: her children, Irving "Buttons" Sudam (Joyce) of Torrington and Kathleen Michaud (Michael) of Harwinton. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren. 16 great grandchildren and 15 great, great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Saint Jude's Childrens Hospital.
