We are sad to announce that on May 22, 2019, at the age of 90, Umberto Melaragno (Torrington, Connecticut) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edoardo Melaragno and Elissa Melaragno (Iacovatta); his daughter Anna Maria Melaragno; and his siblings, Antonio Melaragno, Salvatore Melaragno and Lucia Melaragno.
He is survived by: his wife Belinda Melarango (Gatta); his children, Giuseppe Melaragno (Lois), Antonio Melaragno (Teresa), Rico Melaragno (Lisa) and Elisa Lombardi (Camillo) of Torrington; and his siblings, John Melaragno (Eleanor) of New Hartford, CT and Maria DiGioacchino (Luigi) of Schenectady, NY. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
