We are sad to announce that on July 20, 2018, at the age of 82, William Battle Jr. (Torrington, Connecticut) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Battle and Helen Battle. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Battle; his sons, Darnell Battle and William Battle III; his daughter-in-law Rise Battle; his daughters, Carla Battle and Violetta Battle; his son-in-law Joseph Olley, Sr.; his grandson Joseph Olley, Jr.; and also Frances Battle.
At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Northwest Connecticut Community Foundation, 33 East Main Street, PO Box 1144, Torrington CT 06790, to be used for a scholarship fund to be established in memory of William (Bill) Battle.
