She was predeceased by: her spouse Andrew Kleitz; her parent Edward McCarthy; her son Peter Kleitz; her son-in-law James Santo; and her brother Edward "Ted" McCarthy.
She is survived by: her parent Helen McGuire McCarthy; her daughter Cathryn Santo of Trumbull; her grandchildren, Alexis Gulas (Joseph), Alicia Smith (Joseph Mele) and Elizabeth Perry (Ross); her great grandchild Hugh Perry; her sister Helene Tallman of Newtown; and her friends, Janet Marino, Eve Hendricks and Francesca Caruso. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and cousins.
