With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Abbott White of Wallingford, Connecticut, born in Beverly, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 18, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund J. White and Gladys V. Cogswell White; his wife Betty; his brother Alton White (Lucy); his siblings-in-law, Charles Hatch and Beatrice White; his son-in-law Alfred Tangney; and his granddaughter Elizabeth Mager.
He is survived by: his former wife Elizabeth Hatch White; his children, Margaret Phillips (Abe) of Forest, VA, Janice White of Torrington, Joan Tangney of Wallingford and David White (Kathleen) of Laconia, NH; his grandchildren, Jonathan Phillips (Marie), Deborah Vereen (Morris), Benjamin Mager (Mariah), Daniel Mager, Michael Tangney (Erin), Melissa Tangney and Jeffrey White (Jenny); his great grandchildren, Hunter, Brandon Phillips, Aurora, Kiera, Tristan Mager, Jackson White and Pierce Tangney; and his brother Kenneth White of Vernon.
Donations may be made in Abbott's memory to a charity of one's choice.
