She was predeceased by: her husband Nicholas Kern; her parents, Norman Hutton and Ethel Hutton (Shove); and her daughter Karen Salah. She is survived by: her children, Nicholas W. Kern (Deborah) of Wallingford, David J. Kern (Patricia) of Wallingford, Barbara Hax of Wallingford and Debra Kern of New Port Richey, FL.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara's' name to the First Congregational Church, 23 S. Main Street, Wallingford.
