He is survived by: his wife Joan O'Connor Vergean; his brother Paul; his sister-in-law Mavis O'Connor; his brother Robert Southland; his son Timothy; his daughter-in-law Sharika Vergean; and his siblings' children, Timothy and Megan O'Connor. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
