She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Leber and Loraine Leber (Peterson) of Auburn; and her husband Donald Hjort of Portland, ME.. She is survived by: her children, Linda Clark of Wallingford, CT and David Hjort (Debbie) of Jupiter, FL; her grandchildren, Nicole Kim (Charles) of Orange, CT and Jessie Hjort of Jupiter, FL; and her cousin Dorothy Poliquin of Lewiston, ME.. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
