She was predeceased by: her husband John S. Geleta; her parents, Alex Mezei and Sofia Mezei (Kiraly); and her siblings, Susan Farkas, Elizabeth Bicske and Alex Mezie.
She is survived by: her son John; her daughter-in-law Patricia Geleta of Wallingford; and her sister Amalia Rumi (Eugene). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
