She was predeceased by: her husband Peter J. Schulam; and her parents, Michael Cassella and Mary Cassella (Sagnella). She is survived by: her children, Peter G. Schulam (Kim) of New Haven, Valerie Yavorek (George) of Guilford and Michael Schulam; her grandchildren, Peter, Mia, Michael, Treviana, Talia, Ava, Isabel and Giuliana; and her great grandchild Peter.
