He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Ferdandina Mesquita (Gomes); his parents, Jose Mesquita and Adalaide Mesquita (Jesus); his children, Manuel Mesquita (Maria) of Wallingford, Maria Chaves (Albertino) of Wallingford, Fernando Mesquita (Dina) of Wallingford and Jorge Mesquita (Bonnie) of Wallingford; his siblings, Antonio, Miguel, Adalaide and Adelia; his grandchildren, Sonia, Brian Sofia, Sandra, Carlos and Isabel; his great grandchildren, Jose, Jeni and Jovani Quiles; and his brothers, Manuel and Jose. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
