She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence and Grace Piper Smith of Yalesville, CT; and her husband Norman Rieger of Wallingford. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Norman Rieger, Jr. (Julie) of Emerson, NJ, Jason Rieger (Julie) of Wallingford and Catherine Rieger Hesseltine (Mark) of Durham; her stepgrandchildren, Brittany Rieger Francis, Michael Rieger of Emerson, NJ, Dominic, Anthony, Amanda Rieger of Wallingford, Jake and Olivia Hesseltine of Durham; her sister Faith Smith Furbush (Peter) of Hopewell, VA; her sibling's children, Andrew Furbush (Jeanette) of Hopewell and Piper Furbush Wallis (Eric) of Sykesville, MD.; her close friend Pat Haller Carvajal of Boerne, TX.; and her children, Eric, Craig and Sarah-Lynn Lefebvre.
