We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2021, at the age of 73, Madeline Leining of Wallingford, Connecticut, born in New Haven, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Austin Giamattei and Phyllis Russo Giamattei; her son Michael Sorcinelli; and her sister Lois Giamattei (Copeland). She is survived by: her husband John Leining; and her brother-in-law James Copeland.

Masks and social distancing are required throughout the funeral.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the American Lung Association or to the American Heart Association.
