He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence McHugh and Dorothy Farrell McHugh. He is survived by: his children, Richard D. McHugh, Jr. and Jennifer Ranciato (John); his grandchildren, Alex and Olivia; and his siblings, Larry McHugh (Patricia), Cheryl Violano (Mike) and Gail Egan (Jack). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
