He was predeceased by: his father Tomás E. Mendez Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Carmen P. Mendez; his sons, Michael L. Mendez and Thomas J. (Maria Mendez); his mother Saturnina G. Mendez (Tomás); his granddaughters, Natalia, Kalie and Avery Mendez; his sister Ilean; his brother-in-law James E. Narrow; and his nephew James S. Narrow. He is also survived by other son; and many other extended family members and friends.
